The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Affordable Housing Projects in Development. [Reporting will occur as projects move ahead] <br /> 1. Red Brook Village. The project is awaiting a funding decision from DHCD. The <br /> developer, POAH-HAC, has decided to rename the 950 Falmouth Road project"Red <br /> Brook Village" <br /> 2. Mashpee Commons. <br /> a. Ch. 40B Project- 32 units completed out of 52 <br /> b. Masterplan Revision-The Town of Mashpee has withdrawn from efforts to <br /> negotiate a 3-party development agreement under Cape Cod Commission procedures. <br /> The project is indefinitely suspended. <br /> 3. Habitat for Humanity The Degrass Rd and Mendes Way projects were completed and <br /> occupied in 2021. Cost certification and owner financing is still to be accomplished. Two <br /> of the designated purchasers have not yet closed mortgages with the bank. Beth Wade <br /> is has completed a draft of the final report and will share it with the Committee upon <br /> completion of its review by Habitat's Accountant. Hopefully that will happen by the April <br /> meeting of the Committee. <br /> 4. Wampanoaq Village- 24 of 42 units completed; SHI Status to be clarified <br /> 5. 108 Commercial Street- Evan.Lehrer, Town Planner, informed the Committee that there <br /> is a problem with the boundaries of the parcel. It has been narrowed down to three <br /> possibilities either one, six, or nine acres. It is unlikely to be one acre. This purchase by <br /> the Town of Mashpee goes back to the 1940's. The paperwork has been difficult to <br /> recover. There is a legal problem that needs settling. It will likely be six acres, but nine <br /> would open up more possibility.
