At its Meeting on April 6, 2022, the Planning Board voted 3-2 to recommend approval of Article 31. <br />Motion Made By Robert Mills: <br />I move the Town vote to approve Article 31 as printed in the warrant. <br />Motion to indefinitely postpone at 9:55 PM <br />Article 32 <br />To see if the Town will vote to amend §174-25 (H)(12) of the Mashpee Zoning By Law "Table of Use Regulations by adding <br />"SP" under Zoning Districts R-5 and C-2 <br />TYPE OF USE <br />RESIDENTIAL <br />COMMERCIAL <br />INDUSTRIAL <br />R-3 <br />R-5 <br />C-1 <br />C-2 <br />C-3 <br />1-1 <br />Medium -scale and <br />SP <br />SP <br />PR <br />Large-scale Ground <br />mounted Solar Energy <br />Systems, provided that <br />neighboring properties <br />are effectively protected <br />from any significant <br />adverse impacts from <br />glare, that any such <br />systems are properly <br />fenced or otherwise <br />secured, and that no <br />hazardous materials are <br />stored in quantities <br />greater than permitted <br />by other sections of this <br />By -Law, subject to <br />approval by the Plan <br />Review Committee and <br />Design Review <br />Committee. <br />(Allowed by SP under <br />174-45.7 only in the <br />Solar Energy System <br />Overlay District). <br />Submitted by Petition <br />Explanation: This article would allow the development of medium and large scale solar energy systems in the residential (R- <br />5) and commercial (C-2) zoning districts with a Special Permit from the Planning Board provided they are within the Solar <br />Energy Systems Overlay District. <br />The Board of Selectmen will make a recommendation at Town Meeting of Article 32 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee will make a recommendation at Town Meeting of Article 32 by a vote of 6-1 <br />At its Meeting on April 6, 2022, the Planning Board voted 3-2 to recommend approval of Article 32. <br />Motion Made By Robert Mills: <br />22 <br />
