<br />Motion Made by Selectman Cotton: <br /> <br />I move that the Town vote to approve Article 3 as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase,” or <br />take any other action related thereto.” <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously at 7:18 PM <br /> <br />Article 4 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $1,974,712 from revenue available for <br />appropriation, to be deposited into the Capital Stabilization Fund, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> <br />Explanation: This article will set aside funds into the Capital Stabilization account for future capital expenditures in <br />an effort to ensure the Town will maintain its assets at a level adequate to protect the Town’s capital investment and <br />to minimize future maintenance and replacement costs. <br /> <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 4 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 4 by a vote of 7-0 <br /> <br />Motion Made by Selectman O’Hara: <br /> <br /> I move that the Town vote to approve Article 4 as printed in the Warrant, with the exception of the phrase “or <br />take any other action relating thereto.” <br />Motion passes unanimously at 7:18 PM <br /> <br />Article 5 <br />To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $369,215 from revenue available for appropriation <br />to the Natural Resources Capital Account for the customization of facilities for the Department of Natural Resources, <br />or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br />Explanation: The Capital Improvement Program Committee voted unanimously to recommend that the Town use <br />revenue available for appropriation (“Free Cash”) to complete the customization of the purchased condominium units <br />for the Department of Natural Resources and further, to be voted at the May Special Town Meeting for the funds to <br />become available during Fiscal Year 2022. <br />FISCAL YEAR 2023 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> PLANNING & CONSTRUCTION <br /> DNR Facility $ 369,215 <br /> <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of 7-0 <br />Motion Made by Selectman Sherman: <br />I move that the Town vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $369,215 from revenue available for <br />appropriation to the Natural Resources Capital Account. <br /> <br />
