<br />To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and the
<br />Citizens of the Town of Mashpee:
<br />In accordance with State statute, Section 61 of
<br />Chapter 41, 1 hereby transmit the annual financial
<br />report of the Town of Mashpee, as of June 30, 2016,
<br />for the fiscal year then ended. The responsibility for
<br />both accuracy of the presented data and the
<br />completeness and fairness, including all disclosures,
<br />rest with the Finance Director.
<br />The Finance Director believes that the data as
<br />presented is accurate in all material aspects. Town By -
<br />Law Article 4, Section 15-13, states that the financial
<br />statements of the Town of Mashpee may be audited
<br />yearly by a Certified Public Accountant selected by the
<br />Board of Selectmen. This requirement has been
<br />complied with. The complete report of the Auditors
<br />may be examined at the Town Clerk's Office during
<br />regular office hours.
