Commonly referred to as the 10 States Standards. <br /> He has made minor revisions to the document and will be e-mailing them out to the <br /> Commission Members for review. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Interview the following candidate for the Board of Sewer Commissioners: <br /> e Catherine Castaneda <br /> Mrs. Castaneda was interviewed. She comes to the Commission with a vast array of <br /> experience and was appointed to the Commission by the Select Board at the <br /> July 11, 2022 meeting. <br /> 2. Sewer Construction Team update with Interim Town Engineer, Ray Jack. <br /> Mr. Jack gave an update pertaining to the 3 contracts for Phase I. <br /> Contract I covers the water resource recovery facility and has two separate bidding <br /> processes by law. A GC bidding process and a Sub-Bid process. <br /> The Sub-Bid process has to go first and the entire bidding process is scheduled to be <br /> completed by August 11, 2022. <br /> If the Town considers the bids viable then the contracts are expected to be finalized and <br /> executed by the Town Manager no later than September 30, 2022. <br /> Mr.Jack emphasized that the Town is on a very tight time constraint as September 30th <br /> is the State deadline for a fully executed contract. <br /> Contracts 2 and 3 cover the sewer collection system. <br /> Mr. Jack will be sending letters to the Homeowners in the sewer service area once the <br /> project is deemed viable and moving forward. In the letter, he will explain how the <br /> homeowners will be impacted. <br /> Mr.Jack has reviewed Phase 11 of the sewer service areas on the Towns current plan <br /> which was adopted in 2015. Following each Phase the Town is required to reevaluate all <br /> subsequent plans under the MEPA certificate. This evaluation could take up to 2 years <br /> to complete. <br /> Mr.Jack discussed the DEP presentation of their new Regulatory Process at the Select <br /> Board meeting held on July 11, 2022. <br /> 2 <br />
