Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Gottlieb at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community&Government Center <br /> Members of the Mashpee Select Board met in joint convention with the following <br /> Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council representatives; <br /> Brian Weeden, Chairman, Carleton Hendricks, Vice Chairman, Cassie Jackson, Secretary and <br /> Tribal Council members; Yvonne Frye Avant, Winnie Johnson Graham, Aaron Tobey, Jr. and <br /> Domingo Teixeira. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of Potential Use ofTreatmentµ Ca,achy at the Mashpee Wamoanoa Wastewater <br /> Treatment Center: <br /> At this time,the Town of Mashpee is pursuing Phase I of its Wastewater Plan. The project <br /> includes collection and treatment at the planned Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility <br /> adjacent to the Mashpee Transfer Station. <br /> The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe through grant funding is constructing an affordable housing <br /> project at their Meetinghouse Road site location. <br /> The Select Board asked if there is potential for wastewater collaboration noting the Town has not <br /> included the Mashpee Town Hall and other locations in the area of Great Neck Road South and <br /> Route 130 in Phase I of the Wastewater Management Plan. <br /> The Tribe is seeking to construct additional units in the next phase of construction as there is a <br /> strong need for housing. It has not been fully determined,but there may be availability for <br /> additional connection. <br /> The Town was requested to provide technical information as to the projected gallons per day and <br /> other related information required to fulfill wastewater needs in this area. It was agreed the <br /> Town's engineering consultant would be authorized to further discuss the logistics with Mr. <br /> Hendricks. <br />
