OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Review Ray Jack's revisions to the Town of Mashpee Rules and Regulations of the <br /> Mashpee Sewer System. <br /> Request signature page for Town Departments and Select Board. <br /> A motion was made by Mr.Towle to approve the revised Rules and Regulation of the <br /> Mashpee Sewer System as edited by Mr.Jack. <br /> Catherine Castaneda seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br /> 2. Ray Jack update on contract status. <br /> Mr. Jack introduced the Engineering Team. <br /> Sandy Tripp, representing GHD <br /> Mike Scipione, representing Weston and Sampson which will be the OPM <br /> Paul Millett, representing EPG <br /> Three contracts were bid and appropriate bids have been received for all of them. <br /> Contract I for the water resource recovery facility(wastewater plant) came back <br /> substantially high due to current inflation and supply chain issues. The bid came in <br /> approximately 8 million dollars higher than originally anticipated. <br /> Contract 2 for the collection system North of Route 28. <br /> Contract 3 for the collection system South of Route 28. <br /> Mr.Jack gave his recommendations on awarding the Wastewater Contract. <br /> 3. Contract discussion with Vendors. <br /> There was a discussion with Mike Scipione pertaining to alternates and the limited <br /> number of options the Town has. <br /> Sandra Tripp stated that alternates have protected the 54 million dollars. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Review and follow up on questions presented by Meredith Harris via e-mail dated <br /> 8/20/22 previously forwarded to the Commission. <br /> Mr.Smith made a motion that the Select Board nominate a Liaison amongst <br /> themselves to the Sewer Commission. <br /> Meredith Harris seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br /> 2 <br />
