MASHPEE CULTURAL COUNCIL <br /> MINUTES JULY 7, 2022 <br /> MASHPEE SENIOR CENTER <br /> PRESENT: Nina Cocomazzi, Lee Smith, Mary Alice Stahleker, Andrea Watson, Janet Wright. <br /> Missed: Wendy Bornstein, David Egel, Winnie Graham. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order by N. Cocomazzi at 10:07 a.m. A quorum was determined <br /> present. <br /> MINUTES <br /> The minutes of the March 24, 2022 meeting were unanimously APPROVED on motion by J. <br /> Wright, seconded by A. Watson. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT —$1,000 of the granted $5,950 has been paid out. Report accepted <br /> on motion by J. Wright, seconded by L. Smith. <br /> OLD BUSINESS — <br /> Local Council Priorities and Objectives were reviewed. <br /> The "COVID-19 Consideration" will remain until further notice. On motion duly made by M. <br /> Stahleker and seconded by J. Wright, it was VOTED to remove "Promotes tourism" from the <br /> Guidelines. <br /> Whether ..."or a broad spectrum of the population..." should be changed was discussed. It was <br /> agreed to leave as written. <br /> On motion made by J. Wright, seconded by L. Smith, it was VOTED that updating the website <br /> page with changes voted or appropriate does not require a vote of the Council. <br /> Citizen Survey -Draft Survey was reviewed. Item 6)is removed and Item 4)will be bulleted <br /> for clarity. "Date Completed"will be added. <br /> To promote the Survey a Mashpee Enterprise article is proposed and distribution at any <br /> upcoming events, such as Concerts at the Commons. <br /> A brochure to accompany the Survey will be drafted by A. Watson. There was consensus that <br /> once the draft is circulated electronically, it does not require formal vote of the council. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Continued discussion was held on future leadership of the Council, in particular, the role of <br /> Treasurer which will become vacant on 9/26. <br /> FUTURE MEETING <br /> No future meeting was scheduled. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> On motion by J.Wright, seconded by L.
