Area of influence - fire station, police station, Town Hall <br /> These should be "in the center of Mas hp ee. <br /> Mr. Waxer suggests that the town build on, a more central point for <br /> these facilities, i.e. the area of the rotary. Ultimately, Rt. 28 <br /> will byanp as s the rotary. <br /> Mr. Delaney recommends that we made this Town Hall site do by adding <br /> .ore office space. <br /> Mr. Waxwr sites a .need for the development of a municipal center. Schools <br /> The To=n has 1a 3 on River Rd* for a. now school site. <br /> Otis A;F*Ba will have little effect on Mashpee as Yashpee will grow <br /> regardless of the disposition of Otis. <br /> 3. Recreation. Facilities <br /> The South Cape Beach should be for To residents. The Town should <br /> also take a piece of lanai for tom residents for future beach <br /> purposes, <br /> Johns Pond is one area not developed. <br /> The Town. should not go to Federal Funds - shonal.d use Torn funds <br /> so that these areas are opened only to town of Mashpee people.- <br /> Recreation fao i liti es should be built on the new school site before <br /> the new school is built. <br /> 4. Industi i.al Uses <br /> Amenities are not available in the Mashpee area to attract industry <br /> on any large scale, i.e., transportation. <br /> Land along the Mashpee river is owned by the Dept. of Fisheries. <br /> -Only the Au.gat area should be industrial, the rest should be residential* <br /> There should be small commercial areas for the oonvenience of residents. <br /> S <br />
