The proposed <br /> improvements would include accommodations for pedestrians and bicyclists as well as alterations to <br /> the road's configuration. <br /> The Hearing notice was read aloud into the record for informational purposes. It was noted that <br /> conceptual plans will be presented at the Hearing and available in the Office of the Town <br /> Manager/Select Board and at the Mashpee DPW for viewing. <br /> Carleton Hendricks,Vice-chair of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe indicated the Tribe received grant <br /> funding several years ago to conduct a road safety study in the Town of Mashpee. As a result of the <br /> recent pandemic and other variables,the project was placed on hold. Since 2018 the plan earmarked <br /> the necessity for road safety improvements on Old Barnstable Road in the area of Breezy Acres and the <br /> Mashpee-Falmouth Town line. <br />
