- � �� Town of ash ee <br /> V <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH - PUBLIC SESSION <br /> Mashpee Town Hall —Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Minutes of the Meeting of December 2, 2021 <br /> Board Members Present: Member Absent: Also Present: <br /> Brian Baumgaertel,Chair Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Ernest Virgilio,Vice-Chair Christine Willander,Assist Health Agent <br /> Kripani Patel, Clerk <br /> Chair Brian Baumgaertel called the Public part of the meeting to order at 6:03 PM. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. COVID — 19 update. Mr. Harrington commented that as of November 27th, the 14-day <br /> percent of positivity rate in Mashpee was 5.02%,and the average daily incidence rate was <br /> 27.1 <br /> As of this meeting, Mashpee has 55 current cases in isolation that have been reported. <br /> Participated in bi-weekly Health Agents Coalition conference calls, updated the COVID <br /> page on the Town website. <br /> Maintained the COVID case tracker and provided daily updates to the Town Manager and <br /> Emergency Dispatch Services <br /> Provided guidance regarding vaccinated and unvaccinated close contacts to Town <br /> departments and a number of businesses in the community <br /> Prepared a comprehensive guidance document which was distributed to all Department <br /> Heads that included isolation, quarantine, testing and mask requirements for vaccinated <br /> and unvaccinated, and symptomatic and non-symptomatic close contacts, as well as for <br /> employees who have not been identified as close contacts but who are experiencing <br /> COVID symptoms. <br /> Scheduled and advertised a Pediatric Vaccine Clinic for 5-11 year olds at Christ the King <br /> Parish Hall, with the 1st dose clinic to be held on December 181h, and the 2nd dose clinic to <br /> be held three weeks later on January 8th <br /> Currently working with the VNA and CCHC Pharmacy to schedule a community Booster <br /> Clinic hopefully in the next few weeks. <br /> Referring homebound residents to the VNA for in-home Booster shots <br /> 1 <br />
