Only organic fertilizers, insecticides,and weed repellents may be used that are OK8R| listed (Organic <br /> Materials Review Institute)orCDpA Registered (California Dept ofFood and Agriculture) products. <br /> 14. Tall plants such as corn or sunflowers may only be planted if they do not shade your neighbor's plants. The <br /> growing ofmarijuana is prohibited at the Community Garden. <br /> 15. Invasive plants must be avoided such as mint,catnip, raspberries or anything else which might grow orre- <br /> seed beyond your plot and intrude into adjacent pathways or plots. Fencing of any kind is prohibited without prior written approval of the Advisory Committee. <br /> 17. Business s|gnageor advertising|n your plot is not permitted. <br /> 18. Picking from your neighbor's garden is prohibited even |fit appears tobeabandoned. <br /> 19. Water iu available at the garden. However,each gardener must ensure water use |s not excessive and the <br /> spigot is turned off when not in use. Hoses will be available for use between April 1 and Octobmr31 each <br /> year. Timers,sprinklers and irrigation hoses are not permitted. <br /> 20. Gardeners may store small personal items in the on-site shed such as gloves and simple gardening tools in <br /> the mubby with the corresponding number as their plot. This shed is also used tn house shared equipment <br /> that the Town provides (vvhee|barrom/, hose,etc.). Gardeners will be given the combination for accessing <br /> the shed. It is extremely important that you always lock it upon leaving the garden,and that shared items <br /> are returned immediately after use. <br /> 21. All gardeners will receive a key or lock code tmthe Community Garden upon assignment ofaplot. <br /> 22. No vehicles are permitted in the garden. The srna|| parking area on site can accommodate up to six(6) <br /> vehicles atatime. Please use extreme caution when entering/exiting the lot and, under nocircumstances, <br /> should vehicles back-out onto Route 13D- Alternate parking|s available at the Maohpee Community Park <br /> across from Town Hall. <br /> 23. The Mashpee Conservation Department has planted two pollinator gardens on the property and has also <br /> installed butterfly boxes throughout. Please enjoy these features but dm not disturb them. Anyone <br /> interested in volunteering tm assist the Conservation Department with maintenance of the pollinator <br /> gardens,should contact them at508-539-1400. <br /> 24. The RAashpee Community Garden Advisory Committee has the duty of enforcing rules and making <br /> decisions regarding the Community Garden each year, They have the authority to resolve conflicts, refuse <br /> ap1mt to a gardener or dismiss a current gardener. Violation of these rules could affect the health and <br /> welfare ofthe entinegarden—ond should be reported tmthe Advisory Committee.
