Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Orderby Chairman Weeden at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall,Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> MondaFebrua 13,2023_Renlar Session <br /> The minutes were requested to be amended on page 7, third paragraph by removing the wording: All <br /> cesspools proposed outside of Phase I and II including Title V systems must be approved by the Board of <br /> Health. To read: All Title V systems proposed outside of Phase I and II must be approved by the Board <br /> of Health. It was agreed the minutes would be held for review of accuracy. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to table the acceptance of the referenced minutes to a future <br /> Select Board meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman-Colombo. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Weeden,yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Wyman-Colombo,yes Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Ken Dembroski a resident of Great Field Landing offered comment on the wastewater plan stating the <br /> 800-pound gorilla is still in the room. Mr. Dembroski indicated the original $54 million for phase I will <br /> only sewer 5% or approximately 450 homes. An additional $12 million is further requested to fund the <br /> completion of Phase I. Mr. Dembroski asked how the Town intends to fund the project without <br /> additional revenue sources. It was recommended the Town consider reducing the CPA surcharge to I% <br /> to support an increase to the WIIF from 2%to 3%. Comments regarding this concern were outlined. <br /> (enclosure) <br /> John Cotton of Nobska Road indicated he recently attended a Zoning Board of Appeals meeting. The <br /> public comment portion of the meeting seemed unfair and disrespectful giving the impression the ZBA <br /> was not working above the board. It is hopeful the intent was to bring heightened awareness to the <br /> discussion. Mr. Cotton expressed appreciation to all the citizens who volunteer their time to serve on the <br /> various Town boards and committees. <br />
