Ms. Zollo questioned the mitigation amount as <br /> <br />well. Mr. Cook was informed that the 75% minimum mitigation was per the calculation chart. <br /> <br />Mr. Cook expressed concern about the placement of the pool security fence so far from the <br /> <br />pool. He also expressed concern about digging close to the coastal bank for the pool. Mr. <br /> <br />Cook preferred the limit of work to be farther away from the pool. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Colombo reiterated that he has not had ample opportunity to review the new information <br /> <br />and would have to abstain if it came to a vote. Several other commissions reinforced that <br /> <br />concern about the time of the submission regarding the proposed mitigation. <br /> <br />Mr. Kent, Assistant Agent, read into the record comments: Proposed pool/patio over existing <br />lawn. Portion of proposed activities lie within the 50 ft buffer zone to top of coastal bank; <br />however entire area is previously disturbed, thus a waiver of standards is requested. Based <br />on the most recently submitted plan, the applicant has reduced the proposed footprint of <br />hardscaping within the 50 ft buffer zone from 484 sq ft to 110 sq ft.
