<br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, April 26,2023, at
<br /> 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North.
<br /> Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William A. Blaisdell, Ron Bonvie, Scott
<br /> Goldstein, Associate Members Sharon Sangeleer, George Ganzenmuller, Charlie Reidy, Brad
<br /> Pittsley, and Robert Caggiano were present. Building Commissioner, David Morris was also
<br /> present. Board Member,Norman J. Gould was absent.
<br /> Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were being
<br /> televised live on Mashpee TV. He will take comments after each hearing.

<br /> 25 Menemsha Road: Owners, Paul J. and Kathryn M. Thurston request a Written Finding under
<br /> §174-17 and §174-33 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of an in-ground pool and
<br /> patio on property located in an R-3 and Popponesset Overlay District(s), Map 123 Parcel 10,
<br /> Mashpee, MA. (Received letter from Attorney dated April 20, 2023).
<br /> Ms. Sangeleer read a letter dated April 20, 2023 from Attorney Christopher Kirrane requesting a
<br /> withdrawal of the petition without prejudice.
<br /> Mr. Bonvie made a motion to close to public comment in reference to Paul J. and Katheryn M.
<br /> Thurston application for a Written Finding. Mr. Goldstein seconded, Mr. Pittsley, yes, Mr.
<br /> Goldstein, yes, Mr. Bonvie, yes, Mr. Blaisdell, yes, and Mr. Furbush, yes. All were in favor to
<br /> close the public hearing.
<br /> Mr. Bonvie made a motion to accept the withdrawal without prejudice from Attorney Christopher
<br /> Kirrane's letter dated April 20, 2023 in reference to Paul J. and Kathryn M. Thurston of 25
<br /> Menemsha Road request for a Written Finding. Mr. Pittsley seconded, yes, Mr. Goldstein, yes,
<br /> Mr. Bonvie, yes, Mr. Blaisdell, yes, and Mr. Furbush, yes. All were in favor to accept the
<br /> withdrawal without prejudice.
<br /> 38 Fells Pond Road: Owners, Michael E. Gould and Jo Robin Gould request a Written Finding
<br /> under §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for an addition, extension of a pre-existing, non-
<br /> conforming dwelling on property located in an R-3 Zoning District,Map 116 Parcel 22,Mashpee,
<br /> MA. (Received letter from applicant dated April 20, 2023).
