MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> MAY 24, 2023 <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> 21 Fro Pond Close and 352 Mash ee Neck Road: Owner, Timothy W. Leedham, Trustee of <br /> the Shoestring Bay Nominee Trust requests to modify the existing Special Permit of the marina <br /> use and expand to include the adjacent property located at 352 Mashpee Neck Road, Original <br /> Special Permits: (SP-83-3-008, SP-00-167, SP-02-59, and SP-2020-06), under §174-24 (C) (9) <br /> (b); §174-25 (E);and §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws,on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, <br /> Map 90 Parcel 83 and Map 90 Parcel 97,Mashpee, MA. <br /> Attorney Christopher Kirrane represented the applicant. He submitted a letter requesting a <br /> continuance until the June 14, 2023 meeting. The Attorney met with Mr. Morris and Mr. Lehrer, <br /> Town Planner,and their recommendation was to meet with the Department Heads for Plan Review <br /> scheduled for Tuesday, June 6, 2023. The purpose is to receive any recommendations from them <br /> to provide for the Zoning Board. <br /> Mr. Bonvie asked the Attorney if he had seen correspondence from Town Counsel and Town <br /> Planner. The Attorney said he spoke to Mr. Lehrer, but has not seen the actual correspondence <br /> from Town Counsel. <br /> Chairman Furbush mentioned that there were a number of people in the audience that would have <br /> liked to speak, and a letter was received from an abutter that will be read at the next hearing. Mr. <br /> Furbush said that this hearing has a long way to go. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer read the letter dated May 23, 2023 into the record from Attorney Kirrane's office <br /> requesting a continuance until Wednesday, June 14, 2023. The reason for the request is that the <br /> applicant is scheduled to appear before the Site Plan Committee on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. <br /> Mr. Reidy suggested to Attorney Kirrane that he provide the Board any recommendations from <br /> the Plan Review Committee at the June 14th meeting, and that their recommendations have been <br /> addressed in writing according to their submitted plans, comments, and requests that they are <br /> satisfied. <br /> Mr. Bonvie made a motion that the Board accept Attorney Christopher Kirrane's request that is <br /> outlined in the May 23, 2023 request for a continuance of the public hearing until June 14, 2023, <br /> referencing 352 Mashpee Neck Road and 21 Frog Pond Close. <br /> Mr. Goldstein, seconded. Ms. Sangeleer, yes, Mr. Goldstein, yes, Mr. Bonvie, yes, Mr. Blaisdell, <br /> yes, and Mr. Furbush, yes. All were in favor. <br /> 4 <br />
