<br /> <br />Article 7 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to authorize the total expenditures for the following revolving funds pursuant G.L. <br />c.44 Section 53E ½ for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, to be expended in accordance with the Bylaw <br />establishing said revolving funds, heretofore approved, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> <br />FUND FY 2024 AUTHORIZATION <br />Recreation $625,000 <br />Library $20,000 <br />Senior Center $25,000 <br />Historical Commission $2,500 <br /> <br />Submitted by the Finance Director <br /> <br />Explanation: This article establishes the FY 2024 expenditure limits for departmental revolving funds. <br /> <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 7 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 7 by a vote of 7-0 <br /> <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Weeden <br /> <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Article 7 as printed in the Warrant, with the exception of the <br />phrase “or take any other action relating thereto.” <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously at 7:44 PM <br /> <br />Article 8 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $250,000 from revenue available for <br />appropriation, to be deposited into special injury leave indemnity fund, (Injured on Duty Fund), in accordance <br />with the provisions of General Law Chapter 41, Section 111F for the purposes of funding injury leave <br />compensation or medical bills incurred under said law, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> <br />Submitted by the Finance Director <br /> <br />Explanation: This article would deposit $250,000 into the special injury leave indemnity fund (Injured on Duty <br />Fund). <br /> <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 8 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 8 by a vote of 7-0 <br /> <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Cotton <br /> <br /> <br />
