Article 23 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $94,062 from revenue available for appropriation to fund the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), AFL-CIO Local 888, Public Works Unit A; effective July 1, 2023, with said funds to be distributed to various salary line items by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Select Board Explanation: This article will fund the negotiated adjustments to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), AFL-CIO Local 888, Public Works Unit A for Fiscal Year 2024. The Select Board recommends approval of Article 23 by a vote of 5-0 The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 23 by a vote of 5-0 Motion made by Select Board Member Cotton Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 23 as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase "or take any other action relating thereto."
