Next up: local permitting. <br /> <br />Local Comprehensive Plan: Mr. McManus submitted updates to Town Planner on behalf of <br />Conservation Commission (regulatory reviews, restoration projects) for incorporation into LCP <br />final draft. <br /> <br />Mashpee River Woodlands Trail Modifications- New England Mountain Biking Club/ <br />Eversource Easement has been completed. <br /> <br />Bat boxes are being built with High School Environmental Club help (Moody Pond and Santuit <br />Preserve) <br /> <br />Guided Mashpee Nature Tours – Out for June. <br /> <br />Herring Warden updates: All three herring runs are still active but beginning to wind down. The <br />meeting to take place on May 19th at 1 p.m. Waquoit Conference room Mashpee Town Hall with <br />Rep. Vieira to discuss funding for restoration of stretches of upper Mashpee River and fish <br />ladder. <br /> <br />Harbor Management Committee update: No updates <br /> <br /> <br />Additional Topics <br /> <br />Mr. McManus will follow up on the installation of signs on all the rivers by the Historic <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. McManus received correspondence from Massachusetts Environmental Protection Act <br />(MEPA) which was sent out to 90 Popponesett Island. There is an Environmental Policy Act <br /> <br />
