r i TOWN OF I ASHPEE BOARD OF APPEALS DECISION Re: Petition of Maryann and Edward Pilat for a Variance Petition was filed by Maryann and Edward Pilat of Wellesley, Y Massachusetts requesting a Variance under Section 7.4 of the Land Space Requirements, for permission to vary the minimum lot frontage requirements, on property located on lonahansett Road, Popponesset, Mashpeep Massachusetts. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General laws, Chapter 40A as amended by Chapter 808 of the Acts of 1975. Notice was given by publication by publishing in the Falmouth Enterprise, newspaper of general circulation in the Town f Mashpee on July 22, 1980 and July 29, 1980, copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Nall on Wednesday, August 6, 1980 8130 p.m. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout s Robert J. Houle, Raymond G. Sweeney, Peter Muse, The Petitioner explained to the Board the intension to construct single family dwelling on the property, A number of neighbors were present, and stated they were in favor of grantingthe Variance, but expressed concern for on street parking in front of the proposed house. The Board found that the Petitioner established to the satisfaction of the Board, a hardship unique to the particular property, The Board also established that granting the Variance would not be detrimental to the Town, and would -be in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the 6rdance or By-law. - As a condition to the granting of the Variance the Petitioners are to provide adequate off street parking.
