Farris of Mashpee, Massachusetts from an <br /> r <br /> ■ <br /> order of the Building Inspector contained in a letter dated- clay .7, 1981 e n ernin the <br /> construction of a tower and generator upon Mr, Harris' property locat'e.d at 45 James <br /> Circle, John's fond Estates, Mashpee Massachusetts. , <br /> i <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, <br /> Chapter 40A,, Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 16, 1981 and June 28, 1981, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was Meld on the appeal at the Ma hpee 'Town Hall on Wednesday, <br /> r <br /> July 1, 1981, at 8:00 p.m. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and voting throughout: Robert J. Houle, Chairman, Raymond G. Sweeney <br /> and Peter Lawrence. <br /> At the hearing, Mr. Harris explained that he was granted a building permit in <br /> February; that he Megan construction of the footings at the end of April; and that <br /> subsequently the Building Inspector issued a letter dated May ' , 11 that all work be <br /> stopped. <br /> Mr. Herman Drees, President of Pinson Energy testified as to the tower and <br /> indicated that its totdl height would be 89 feet. <br /> 4 <br /> Several abutters to the property spoke In opposition to the construction of the tower <br /> expressing concerns of safety, television interference, aesthtics and noise. <br /> -1- <br /> A- <br />
