Collins, Darlene Furbush, Catherine Lewis, A. <br /> Gregory McCelvey, Carol A. Sherman, Mary Waygan <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Moment of Silence <br /> Public Comment <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> Minutes <br /> Approval of the Following:Tuesday, May 30, 2023 Minutes <br /> The Committee discussed amendments to the May 30, 2023 meeting minutes. <br /> Mary Waygan recommended edits to page one, agenda item Charter Article 2. Darlene Furbush noted <br /> that there is a reference in section 2.2 to section 3.10.Section 3.10 does not exist. <br /> Greg McKelvey's comments on COVID were relating to the impact of a state or local emergency on the <br /> timing of Town Meeting. There was discussion about including language regarding declaring a state of <br /> emergency. Town Manager Rodney Collins informed the committee that the Select Board does declare <br /> emergencies in order to be reimbursed for federal emergency funding.The question regarding the impact <br /> of state or local emergencies on the timeline for Town Meeting will be forwarded to Town Counsel. <br /> On page 3 section 2.10 the word "consensus"should be taken out.Additionally on section 2.10 Catherine <br /> Lewis's comments on how to separate voters from non-voters should be included. <br /> David Weeden asked that the word absent be used in place of missing when referring to a committee <br /> member who could not attend. <br /> Motion made to approve amendments/corrections to the Draft Tuesday May 30,2023 minutes <br /> Vote: Miller,yes Myers,yes Collins,yes Furbush,yes Lewis,yes McKelvey, yes <br /> Sherman,yes, Waygan,yes Weeden, abstain <br /> Old Business <br />
