9 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> Thursday, February 2, 2023 <br /> Meeting re-convened: 8:49 p.m. <br /> Motion made by Ms. Waygan to reconvene at 8:49 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Klein. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 8-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Ms. Russell, yes Mrs. Thayer, yes Mr. Hyde, yes Ms. Waygan, yes <br /> Mr. Weeden, yes Ms. Barbee, yes Mr. Klein, yes Mr. Colombo, yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Continued Review and Possible Vote of the following Project Applications to be considered for <br /> May 2023 Town Meeting; <br /> Evan Lehrer, Acquisition of 751 Main Street for Open Space/Passive Recreation purposes: <br /> The discussion relative to the potential acquisition of 751 Main Street, Mashpee was deferred to <br /> the next meeting. <br /> NEXT MEETING <br /> Thursday, March 2, 2023 <br /> With the resignation of Dawn Thayer and Ed Larkin there are two vacancies on the Community <br /> Preservation Committee. <br /> CPC member Dawn Thayer was respectively requested to reconsider her resignation. Mrs. <br /> Thayer is considered with high regard by members of the Community Preservation Committee <br /> for having considerable experience attaining an immeasurable amount of knowledge to the <br /> complex facets of this position during her tenure of service as a member of the Community <br /> Preservation Committee that is accordingly well-respected. Mrs. Thayer was receptive to the <br /> renewal of her appointment. <br /> The vacancy created by Mr. Larkin seeking an At Large member shall be duly advertised. <br /> At the next meeting, the CPC is expected to reorganize and continue review of the CPC Plan and <br /> its criteria as well as conducting review of the revised CPC Application. In addition, the CPC <br /> should have sufficient information to consider the 751 Main Street application. <br />
