�� Town Of Mashpee Historic District Commission <br /> ` 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Mashpee Historic District Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> September 8,2022 at 8:30 AM <br /> Mashpee Town Hall—Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Historic District Commission Members Present: Chairman Brian Hyde, Earl Mills,Sr., Dennis Balzarini, <br /> and Bradford Pittsley,who participated remotely <br /> Also: Evan Lehrer,Town Planner <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Historic District Commission meeting was called to order by Chairman Hyde at <br /> 8:30 AM on September 8, 2022 and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The Town Planner reported that the minutes of the July 19, 2022 meeting had not yet been prepared <br /> and will have to be submitted for review and approval at a future meeting. <br /> PROPOSED PROJECTS <br /> Chairman Hyde then opened the public hearing for Angela Hemmila for Solar Rising of 348 Main Street. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Applicant: Angela Hemmila for Solar Rising <br /> Location: 348 Main Street, Mashpee, MA <br /> Request: Certificate of Appropriateness <br /> Description: The Applicant is seeking endorsement of Certificate of Appropriateness for <br /> replacement of asphalt shingle roof in Colonial slate color. <br /> The Applicant presented its proposal to the Historic District Commission to replace the existing asphalt <br /> shingled roof in Colonial slate color. The Applicant noted to the Commissioners that they were <br /> proposing to replace only the shingles on the front portion of the building but will commit to replacing <br /> the shingles on the rear portion with the same product as soon as is practicable. <br /> Following the presentation by the Applicant and discussion by the Commissioners,the Chair sought <br /> public comment in relation to the application. Seeing none,the Chair sought a motion to close the <br /> Public Hearing. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini motioned to close the Public Hearing. The motion was seconded by Earl <br /> Mills and was unanimously approved. <br /> The Commissioners found that the asphalt shingle in Colonial slate color proposed by the Applicant <br /> would be harmonious with the Historic District. As such,the Chair sought a motion to issue the <br /> Certificate of Appropriateness as presented. <br /> 1 <br />
