Meeting Called to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM. A quorum was <br /> declared with the following members present Jill Allen, Kevin Shackett, and Lisa Meizinger. <br /> Also, in attendance were Kimberly Conn, Executive Director. <br /> 2. Public Comment None. <br /> 3. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes — Approval of the July 8, 2021, minutes was <br /> tabled for a quorum of members present during that meeting. Ms. Allen entertained a motion <br /> to approve the minutes of the general session of the August 26, 2021, meeting. Ms. <br /> Meizinger moved; Mr. Shackett seconded. Motion Carried 3-0-0. <br /> 4. Treasurer's Report, Warrants and Budget Update (Board vote needed) The board <br /> reviewed the warrants of August 2021, with no questions posed, Ms. Allen entertained a <br /> motion to approve the August 2021 Warrants, Mr. Shackett moved, Ms. Meizinger <br /> seconded. Motion Carried 3-0-0. Ms. Conn reported that the 6/30/2021 budgets were <br /> approved by DHCD, but she has not heard back on the additional funding request. <br /> 5. Executive Director's Report & Updates (Board vote as needed)—The board reviewed the <br /> Architects Proposal for the Breezy Way Roof Replacement, after a brief discussion, Ms. <br /> Meizinger moved to approve Leonardi Aray Architects' designer fee proposal in the <br /> amount of$8,500.00, seconded by Mr. Shackett. Motion carried 3-0-0. Ms. Conn <br /> reviewed the proposed utility allowance schedules, how they are prepared, and utilized in <br /> rent calculations; Ms. Meizinger moved approval of the schedules effective 1.0/l./2t, <br /> seconded by Mr. Shackett. Motion. Carried 3-0-0. There were no updates regarding the <br /> pending litigation; the mediation hearing is scheduled for November 3, 2021. Ms. Conn <br /> received a letter from the Undersecretary of DFICD announcing the appointment of Mary J. <br /> LeClair to the state seat on the Mashpee Housing Authority Board for the term of office <br />
