Finance Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> June 9, 2O22 <br /> APPOINTMENTS&HEARINGS <br /> Update om appointments to the Finance Committee. <br /> Currently,there are five candidates interested in joining the Finance Committee,one of which is a former <br /> Member. <br /> There was a discussion regarding beginning interviews at the next meeting which is tentatively scheduled for <br /> June 3O, ZO2Z. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS&CORRESPONDENCE <br /> None at this time. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Review status of Town Audit Request for Proposal. <br /> Chair Pet1engi|| has distributed the draft Request for Proposal. <br /> it was explained that the Finance Committee is responsible for selecting the firm that will perform the Town <br /> Audit. The firm currently performing the Town Audit will have an extended contract for up to 3 years. <br /> Once the RFP is approved by the Finance Committee it will need approval by the Town Manager and the Finance <br /> Department,then Town Counsel will approve it and then it will go out to bid. <br /> Chair Pettengill will set the RFP up as a Google Document so that the Members of the Committee can go in and <br /> make notes and edits. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Town Manager updates. <br /> None at this time. <br /> 2. Review draft meeting schedule for July through December, 2O22. <br /> Chair Pettengill distributed the draft meeting schedule and explained that the Finance Committee <br /> meetings are found in bold lettering and everything else indicates a deadline date. The deadline dates <br /> have not yet been confirmed. <br /> A Motion was made by Mrs. Furbush to accept the meeting schedule with the edit of the time on September 15, <br /> 2022frorn 5:30prnto6:30pnn. <br /> Motion seconded bw Mr.Weiner. <br /> Motion was passed bw unanimous consent. <br /> ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> None at this time. <br /> 2 <br />
