<br />Red Brook Road Culvert A EOEA grant has been awarded for Redbrook Rd culvert <br />replacement: ($127,000) following the efforts of the DPW director, Catherine Laurent. <br /> <br />Bylaw Review subcommittee – Working on updating regulation 25 and getting close to <br />finalizing. They are also looking at regulation 31 Fertilizer with the plan to disperse a document <br />on the Nantucket fertilizer bylaw for review. <br /> <br />Mashpee River updates: Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) site visits were <br />completed for all three herring runs for restoration funding. There will be a redesign of the <br />Santuit fish ladder entirely paid for by NRCS and other improvements to other existing fish <br />ladders as well. This with other grants such as NOAA grant for upper Quashnet and other <br />restoration projects will reduce the Town financial costs. <br /> <br />Ms. Zollo followed up on the Land Acquisition sub-Committee planning on meeting and <br />advising EOC. Mr. McManus confirmed and indicated that he would speak to the Town Clerk <br />on its creation and that the committee would be advisory with the possibility of outside members. <br />Ms. Zollo confirmed she would be willing to chair it. <br /> <br />Mr. Colombo followed up with the water quality issue indicating he would be out on Ockway <br />Bay and Popponesset with Ms. Corbett on the Barnstable County Extension Service’s boat to <br />do testing. <br /> <br />There being no further topics, Ms. Zollo made a motion to adjourn which was seconded by Ms. <br />Clapprood which was unanimously approved. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Bradford Pierce, Board Secretary <br />Conservation Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
