Public Comment: Ms. Wilson, representing a neighbor, raised the issue of unpermitted structures. Mr. Colombo asked that the applicant and Ms. Wilson be in communication to work out any differences noting the need to expedite things. 7/27/2023 @ 6:21 pm Mr. Cook made a motion for a continuance which was seconded by Ms. Zollo. Bylaw Subcommittee – Mr. Colombo asked to think of language to deal with nitrogen problem. Mr. Colombo noted that it may be possible to have a fertilizer ban on areas that are covered by the Commission’s bailiwick. Mr. McManus concurred but noted enforcement would be tough. Mr. McManus noted that recommendation to have clover lawns and indeed regulations could be changed to facilitate this. The next meeting was suggested to meet last week in July or early August. Public Comment Lynn Barbi (Surf Drive) noted that the senior center is having a presentation on environmental toxins and thought that it would be appropriate to have presentation on nitrogen.
