3 <br />Mashpee Select Board -Sewer Commission <br />Minutes <br />July 17, 2023 <br />Discussion, Approval of Comprehensive Watershed Nitrogen Management Plan ("CWMP") Phase II or <br />Modifications: Presentation by the Town Manager and GHD, Inc. of Options for Joint Review, Modifications <br />and Approval: (continued) <br />Option 41: Provides artery to future northern sewer sheds (including sewering around Mashpee-Wakeby), <br />Does not require WRRF expansion or revised groundwater discharge permit. <br />Serving less densely developed neighborhood — 45 properties. <br />Option 42: Removes nitrogen load from properties, more immediate nitrogen removal impact <br />Next proposed phase in 2015 Plan. High density neighborhood — 376 properties. <br />Does not reduce nutrient loading to freshwater ponds. <br />Option 43: Removes nitrogen load from properties, more immediate nitrogen removal impact, <br />High density neighborhood — 376 properties. <br />Does not reduce nutrient loading to fresh water ponds, <br />Required complex permitting process to increase recharge capacity. <br />Would require Town assistance. <br />Option 44: Removes nitrogen load from properties, more immediate nitrogen removal impact, <br />Provides artery to future northern sewer sheds including Mashpee-Wakeby and Santuit Ponds, <br />High Density neighborhood — 421 properties. <br />Requires complex permitting process to increase recharge capacity. <br />Would require Town assistance. <br />Option 45: Removes nitrogen load from properties, more immediate nitrogen removal impact, <br />Provides artery to future northern sewer sheds including Mashpee-Wakeby Pond watershed. <br />Requires complex permitting process to increase recharge capacity. <br />Would require Town assistance. <br />Option 46: Removes nitrogen load from properties, more immediate nitrogen removal impact, <br />Provides artery for future norther sewer sheds including Mashpee-Wakeby & Santuit Ponds, <br />Requires complex permitting process to increase recharge capacity. <br />Option 47: Removes nitrogen load from properties, more immediate nitrogen removal impact, <br />High density neighborhood —1,041 properties. <br />Requires complex permitting process to increase recharge capacity. <br />Would require Town assistance & negotiations with private WWTFs in a quick timeframe. <br />Option 48: Removes nitrogen load from properties, more immediate nitrogen removal impact, <br />High density neighborhood — 1,086 properties <br />Requires complex permitting process to increase recharge capacity. <br />Would require negotiations with private WWTFs in a quick timeframe. <br />
