public scoping meeting scheduled for Saturday, March iit` at the Mashpee Public Library at 9:oo a.m. • Update on Notice to Proceed: Discussion on what is needed/required for a Notice to Proceed. Consultants provided the criterion. • Stakeholder List: Assignments designated amongst committee members to identify and create a stakeholder list of entities that whose feedback should be solicited in the creation of a harbor management plan, including local marinas, associations, dredge operators/facilitators, environmental advocacy groups, etc. New Business: • MA Coastal Zone Management: Consultants discussed CZM involvement/feedback on Notice to Proceed and project scope. Additional discussion on CZM review of harbor management plans and their approval process under 301 CMR 23.00 • Review Resource List: Discussion amongst committee members of all harbor related resources, including recreational and commercial fishing, aquaculture, boating, swimming/recreating, kayaking, scenic beauty, etc. • Dock Mapping: Discussion on mapping of docks. Use of Mashpee GIS map and permit records from Ch. 91 and Mashpee Conservation Dept. • MOU Agreements with Neighboring Municipalities: Discussion on how to incorporate the towns of Falmouth and Barnstable in regards to a harbor management plan for these respective waterbodies. Consultants recommended the creation of MOUs for each respective town to cooperatively work together on plan initiatives and goals. Additional Topics: Scheduling of next HMPC for February z8`h at 6: oo p.m. in the Waquoit Bay Conference Room at Mashpee Town Hall.
