Are they just set down? <br /> C&I: 4 feet down is typical installation for stair access <br /> Board discussion around Creeping Junipers typically considered native plantings and possible variations to <br />plant in proposed buffer zone. <br /> No questions from the audience. <br /> C&I: If the commission wants variety, since we are so close to bulk head we don’t want anything like a <br />shrub that could have strong roots that would push against the bulkhead, but would be okay with grasses. <br /> Agent: maybe a few different types of grass species and Creeping Junipers. I want to be sure the <br />homeowner doesn’t use the existing knotweed for backfill, and removes the stairs leading to the marsh. <br /> <br /> Paul Columbo: Any questions from the audience? <br /> <br /> Motion made by Brian Weeden to close the issue at Kevin & Christine Granfield, 40 Bayview Road <br />and include the removal of steps over the saltmarsh and invasive knotweed in project. Alex Zollo asks to <br />also include a greater variety of mitigation plantings as well and this language is added by Brian Weeden. <br /> Motion is seconded by Alex Zollo and vote is called by Paul Columbo: <br /> Tomas J. NOI <br />Proposed raze and replace of existing single-family dwelling, upgrade <br />septic system and landscaping. <br /> <br />Representative: Raúl Lizardi-Rivera, Holmes and McGrath, Inc. presenting plans <br /> <br />No notice of intent number issue as of this afternoon project is still open waiting for number. <br />Proceeding knowing we need to continue the matter, with closure to take place at a <br />continuance date. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The applicant is looking to: <br /> Raise the existing family dwelling <br /> Remove existing septic <br /> Remove existing parking area <br /> Remove existing patio <br /> Construct new residence <br /> Install new Title 5, enhanced alternative technologies <br /> Construct gravel driveway for parking over septic <br /> <br />There is no increase in bedrooms, so no increase in flow (septic). All ornamental plants on far <br />west side replaced with native trees and shrubs, but not the entire 50 ft driveway, as it is shared <br />(approx. 12’ depth). Native plantings account for approximately 450’ of plantings. <br />Question regarding dimensions of new structure <br /> <br />Work will take place within 100 ft of property salt marsh to N and W <br />Coastal bank is N and W, with the majority of work to take place is within the 100 ft buffer <br />Proposed house is not increase in bedrooms, with the proposed septic system is located as far <br />away as possible from resources vs existing system which is closer to the salt marsh and <br />coastal bank. There slight reduction in development near coastal buffer, approximately 50 sq <br />feet, due to the removal of patio. <br /> <br />Question from board regarding what happens to hole when old septic is removed? <br /> <br />
