Paul Colombo suggests a motion. Alex makes a motion to close and issue with requirement for mitigation as proposed. Charlie Dalton seconds the motion. Proposed removal and NOI replacement of existing concrete boat ramp and expansion of existing pier. Representative: Cape & Islands Engineering, Inc. presenting plans. Paul Colombo asks the commission for any questions or comments. General discussion regarding the proposed drain and trench. Paul Colombo asks the public if there are any questions or comments. General questions from the public around timing and scope of work to be done, how long it is expected to take, and disruption to public and neighbors living nearby. Some public concerns regarding boaters refueling at the ramp and extending the ramp possibly encouraging this practice. Agent recommends getting in touch with DPW to discuss signage to discourage refueling. Agent recommends close and issue, with work to be done with specified within window (before flounder window is open). Paul suggests a motion. Alex Zollo makes a motion to approve 338 Mashpee Neck Road proposed removal and replacement of existing concrete boat ramp and expansion pier within time of year specified restrictions.
