the tree shall proceed with notification to the Town Planner sent by email or U.S. mail <br />within 24 hours of said removal. <br />(6) Pruning: A tree permit is not required for pruning of Protected Trees. However, <br />excessive pruning may constitute tree removal. <br />(7) Any building activity conducted by the Town or on behalf of the Town of Mashpee. <br />Waiver: During a period of a bona fide emergency declaration resultant of a significant weather <br />event and/or natural disaster by local or other Act of God, state and/or federal authorities, <br />requirements of this Bylaw shall be waived. <br />§175-4 IDENTIFYING PROTECTED TREES <br />The Bylaw defines the Tree Yard to be equal to the minimum front, side, and rear yard setbacks <br />as specified in Table 1 and §175-31 of the Zoning Bylaws of the Town of Mashpee. Any tree <br />with a Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) of 6" or greater as calculated in accordance with Table <br />1 and within the Tree Yard is considered to be a Protected Tree.
