Review and approval of Expense Warrants There were no expense warrants to sign. <br />3. 38 Quail Hollow Road. <br />Chair Baumgaertel must recuse himself because of the nature of his work he is unable to vote on <br />this particular agenda item. Since that would only leave Vice -Chair Virgilio to vote this item was <br />continued until the next meeting. <br />There being no furthercomments or discussion Ernest Virgilio motioned to continue the approval <br />of the use of Norweco WastewaterTreatment System Model960-600 and the Norweco Phos-4- <br />Fade to the next Board of Health meeting. Motioned seconded by Brian Baumgaertel. Roll Call <br />Vote: Ernest Virgilio (yes), Brian Baumgaertel (yes). VOTE: Unanimous (2-0) <br />4. 48 Market Street. Mr. Seabury commented this is an application for a new Food <br />Establishment/Bakery Permit to be located in Mashpee Commons, which is on a private <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant. Mashpee Commons did not require a grease trap for this <br />establishment; however, a grease interceptor is proposed to be installed. This establishment <br />will be take-out only; seating is not offered. There were no issues noted during a preliminary <br />review of the floorplan and equipment specification sheets. The applicant has submitted the <br />required Food Establishment Plan Review Application, as well as a Food Establishment Permit <br />Application. Required supporting documents that have already been provided include the <br />Worker's Compensation Affidavit, the ServSafe and Allergen Awareness Certificates, the <br />proposed menu (which consists of cookies, coffee/tea and bottled soft drinks). The Business <br />Certificate issued by the Town Clerk's Office, along with a Certificate of Liability Insurance have <br />not yet been provided. The Permit fee has been paid, but the plan review fee has not. An <br />inspection by a Health Agent is required prior to sign off on the Certificate of Occupancy and <br />issuance of the Food Establishment Permit. <br />Sarah and Hannah Corner, bakery owners, introduce themselves for the record. Mrs. Corner <br />explained that she started her business in 2019 and is now readyto expand and found the space <br />at the Mashpee Commons. <br />There being no further comments ordiscussion, Ernest Virgilio motioned to approve a new Food <br />Establishment/Bakery Permit for Hatchville Baking Company, 48 Market Street, with the <br />following conditions: 1) submission of a Certificate of Insurance and Business Certificate; 2) <br />payment of the plan review fee; 3) issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy; 4) passing a full <br />food establishment inspection by a Health Agent. Letters of Interestfor Jeff Smith, John Livingston and Judith Conway. Chair Baumgaertel asked <br />each applicant to introduce themselves and give the board some background information about <br />themselves. Jeff Smith, John Livingston and Judith Conway all introduce themselves and talked <br />about their qualifications to become members of the Board of Health. Mr. Seabury commented <br />on all the possibilities forthe future Board. Brian Baumgaertel motioned to recommendthe Board <br />of Selectmen to pursue options increasing the membership of the Board of Health from 3 <br />members to 5 members. Ernest Virgilio seconded.
