The site, an undersized 45,000 square foot lot is <br /> currently a vacant parcel. <br /> The site is in excess of 1 acre similar to the scale of 12 Cypress Circle. The land is not in <br /> a nitrogen sensitive area, and it is suitable for an affordable housing opportunity. <br /> The owner has indicated a desire to offer the property for sale to the Affordable Housing Trust <br /> for the purpose of affordable housing. Mr. Lehrer recommended the Trust move forward to <br /> authorize an appraisal to facilitate negotiations with the property owner. <br /> It was suggested the property be examined to ensure there is no contaminant on site. <br /> Mr. Lehrer was acknowledged with high regard for his due diligence in recognizing and <br /> presenting development opportunities for much needed affordable housing. <br /> Motion made by Mr. McKelvey to authorize a Real Estate Appraisal for 46 Main Street, <br /> Mashpee for a sum not to exceed $5,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr.Klein. <br /> VOTE: 9-0.
