Finance Committee Minutes December 14, 2023 Town Meeting. 300 additional devices were rented at $10/ea. Along with 3 additional Poll Pads to assist in facilitating Voters to enter into the meeting quicker at $600/ea. Deb stated that moving forward the Town of Mashpee will be collaborating with the Town of Sandwich in sharing the devices. 2. Town Manager Updates. None at this Time. 3. Discuss Department Head Budget Meetings. The Committee discussed the Department Head meetings that they have attended thus far. Chair Pettengill reminded the Committee of the meetings that will be taking place next week and he also reminded them that there can be no more than 3 Committee Members in attendance at any of the meetings. 4. Discuss and Approve Finance Committee Meeting Schedule for January to June 2024. Chair Pettengill distributed the proposed meeting schedule to the Committee Members. A motion was made by Darlene Furbush to approve the Finance Committee Meeting Schedule through June 2024. Motion seconded by Greg McKelvey. Motion passed by unanimous consent. Chair Pettengill informed the Committee that starting in January all of the meeting will be in the Waquoit Meeting room and will be televised. ADDITIONAL TOPICS Greg McKelvey gave an update on the Charter Review Committee meeting. He stated that there will be nothing presented at the May Town Meeting this year and quite possibly could go to May 2025 Town Meeting. He said that the Committee has been working hard on the Preamble. They will be sending a survey out to the Voters requesting feedback regarding changes to the Charter.
