MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JANUARY 10,2024 <br /> Mr. Bonvie wants to add the criteria that the Board should be aware of such as "storm drainage" <br /> calculations. Mr. Bonvie said he will write the criteria and submit to the Board for their review. <br /> Also, applicants will historically file their applications with the Town Clerk prior to submitting <br /> their application to the ZBA office. If the applications are not complete, it could be detrimental to <br /> the ZBA Secretary because it could result in a delay of scheduling the hearing that is required to <br /> be heard within 65 days. The Board agreed that the applications need to be fully reviewed and <br /> completed prior to filing with the Clerk. <br /> The Board addressed the questions submitted by the ZBA Secretary. The first question; does the <br /> Board prefer applications be reviewed and heard by Conservation Commission before a ZBA <br /> hearing, if required. The Board agreed; yes. The Board commented that they were very satisfied <br /> that the Conservation Agent had submitted a more explanatory comment on the ZBA hearings. <br /> The second question; does the Board agree or disagree that the public hearing notices are too <br /> detailed. The ZBA Secretary has recently reviewed the applications with Evan Lehrer who is <br /> assisting in writing the public hearing notices.Mr.Bonvie suggested that he meeting with the ZBA <br /> Secretary, and Evan to better streamline the process of producing the public hearing notices. The <br /> Board does not want the process to be a burden on the ZBA Secretary. <br /> Mr. Bonvie also wanted the Board's opinion to discuss any questions regarding Zoning, <br /> Conservation, Flood Plain, etc. (for 10-15 minutes) at the beginning of any public meeting. <br /> Mr. Ganzenmuller made a motion to close the public meeting. Mr. Blaisdell second. All were in <br /> favor.
