Town o,f Mashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JANUARY 10,2024 <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday,January 10,2024,at <br /> 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North. Chairman, <br /> Ronald Bonvie, Board Members, Jonathan Furbush, William Blaisdell, Associate Members, <br /> Sharon Sangeleer, George Ganzenmuller, Charles Reidy, and Brad Pittsley. Also present was <br /> Building Commissioner, David Morris. <br /> Chairman Bonvie opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were being <br /> televised live on Mashpee TV. He will take comments after each hearing. <br /> CONTINUED HEARINGS <br /> 31 Birch Way: Owners, Gary J. and Denise M. Nagle, request a Written Finding under §174-17 <br /> of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for reconstruction of an existing garage, and porch addition to a <br /> pre-existing, nonconforming structure on property located in an R-5 Zoning District, Map 27 <br /> Parcel 86, Mashpee, MA. (Continued from December 13, 2023 hearings at the request of the <br /> Board). <br /> Sitting on this hearing are the three regular Board members, and Associate Members, George <br /> Ganzenmuller, and Charlie Reidy. <br /> Mr. Mike Cannata represented the homeowners request for a Written Finding. The Board <br /> continued this hearing from December requesting that the existing and proposed plans be corrected <br /> to depict the structure coverage percentages on the lot referencing the wetland area,and the square <br /> feet of the wetland area located within the 50 ft. buffer zone. The Board also requested <br /> documentation of the drainage calculations of the drywells which is the method of capturing storm <br /> water runoff. <br /> Mr. Cannata stated that his engineer had a conversation with Evan Lehrer, Town Planner of the <br /> specific amendments to the plans requested by the Board. <br /> Mr.Furbush asked if 17.8%was the proposed lot coverage,and includes the portion of the wetland <br /> area.
