Brian Yergatian from BSC let us know today that he is
moving forward with the design of the Singulair. I sent that up to town council and town
council sent to Rob Mills, attorney for the owner and Rob Mills sent the following: The below
email from
Glen is confirmed. We would like the pending appeal stayed until the
Singulair system is permitted and permit for installation ensues. That was confirmation from
their side that they are looking to do the Singulair and the board at the previous meeting did
issue support of using the Singulair and gave an out to the owner that they would approve
other I/A systems. Where they are moving forward with the Singulair the just needs to make a
final vote to support that. This will keep them under local Board of Health jurisdiction.
I would recommend the following: to approve the Singulair waste water treatment system for
100 Great Neck Road North as the final decision in regard to the appeal of the large septic
permit issued by DEP. The approval of the Singulair system is conditioned that a formal design
be submitted to the Board of Health that meets Title V and the DEP I/A approval letter.
Kripani Patel made a motion to approve the Singulair waste water treatment system for 100
Great Neck Road North as the final decision in regard to the appeal of the large septic permit
issued by DEP. The approval of the Singulair system is conditioned that a formal design be
