Harrington made a note that the agenda time for the appointments are incorrect and that <br /> the times 5 and :20 on the order letters sent out certified and first class mail as well as <br /> email set tote property owner are correct. Attorney Alves is here to represent both <br /> appointments. <br /> 7®15—58 Buccaneer Way <br /> r. Harrington updated the board on June 16, 2021, as a result of a complaint, the Assistant <br /> Health Agent, conducted a site visit at 58 Buccaneer. Access to the rear of the property was <br /> granted the occupant. During the inspection, it was observed that the lock to the bulkhead <br /> was badly damaged,to the extent that it pr .r. Virgilio ented access to the basement, which is a <br /> violation of 105 CMR 410.500. The Assistant Health Agent documented phone communication <br /> with the owner, uri which he assured her that the violation would be corrected. A follow-up <br /> inspection on March4, 2022 by Joseph Callahan, Code Enforcement Inspector, confirmed that <br /> the lock tote bulkhead remained inoperable and access to the basement was still impeded. The <br /> owner was sent an order letter on March 11, 2022 which ordered repair of the violation within <br /> ten (1 )days of receipt oft e letter. At a minimum, contractors were ordered to be hired within <br /> sMr. Virgilio e (7) days to complete the work within thirty (30) days. The property owner was <br /> notified that failure to correct the violation would subject him to fines and/or court action, He <br /> was also notified that he had the ri r. Harringtont to request a show-cause hearing with the <br /> Board of Health, it ins r,Virgilio en ( )days of receipt of the letter. No hearing was requests <br /> and,to date, no action has been taken to comply with the order of March 11, 2022. The certified <br /> green card has not come back and neither the certified nor the first class order letter have come <br /> back undelivered. It is estimated that the first class letter was received on or about March 18, <br /> . <br />
