Shellfish constable <br /> recommends a $2,340.00 shellfish mitigation fee based on calculated disturbances to <br /> shellfish habitat and shellfish species present at the project locus. Fee must be paid prior to <br /> dock construction. Mr. Colombo asked for comments amongst the commissioners. Mr. Borselli described the proposal with Mr. Andrew Garulay <br /> (Landscape Arch itect-Yarm o uth port Design) and Attorney Brian Wall. Mr. Borselli noted that <br /> this property was issued a previous order of conditions in 2016 for a similar proposal. Mr. <br /> Borselli described the septic upgrade to an Innovative alternative system with the best <br /> available technology for nitrogen reduction (Nitro-system). Reduction in overall lawn area <br /> and mitigation plantings. Some proposed alteration of naturally vegetated areas. Mr. Borselli <br /> acknowledged that the plan will be revised to reflect both the 75 ft and 150 ft buffer setbacks <br /> but it won't change the project scope. Mr. Borselli presented additional details of the <br /> proposed septic system/leach field as shown on the plan. Mr. Garulay detailed the <br /> landscaping, hardscaping and mitigation plantings.Attorney Wall detailed the waiver request <br /> and the criterion for consideration. <br /> Mr. Cook asked about proposed square footage increase in living space in the home and <br /> square footage of clearing for the leaching field. Mr. Borselli and Mr. Garulay provided <br /> additional details. Mr. Cook asked about the 150 ft delineation in the area of the septic <br /> system and how that may affect the mitigation. Additional conversation ensued about timing <br />
