<br />Co-Chair Harris stated that the sub-committee that was previously put into place is no longer necessary due to <br />lack of interest and that, moving forward, it will be primarily Mr. Meader and Co-Chair, Harris working on it. <br /> <br />2. Update on Sewer Collection Design Status and how that Positions us for May 6 Town Meeting request <br />for funding – GHD. <br />Sandra Tripp reported that they are under contract for the design of Phase 2 and will be meeting with the <br />Town next week. Soon after, surveyors will be going out. They are currently reviewing the cost estimate for <br />Phase 2. Verifying the numbers are correct now that there are bids to compare them to. <br />She stated that the Phase 1 alternate should hit the street at the end of February and they hope to be under <br />contract in early April. <br /> <br />3. Update on Clarification of Streets for Sewer Collection on Website – Jared Meader. <br />Jared reported that he has had ongoing communications with Environmental Partners attempting to get <br />diagrams laid out. He said that next week he will be taking a training course on GIS so that he will be able to <br />take care of it himself. His goal is to have as much information at people’s fingertips as possible. Catherine <br />Castaneda said she would be able to assist. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Sewer Construction Update – GHD. <br />Sandra Tripp gave her Sewer Construction update for the past month stating that stating that they have been <br />working on buildings, equipment and sand beds at the water reclamation facility. They are finishing up the <br />exterior work on the process building. Equipment has been installed. <br />The exterior of the preliminary treatment building is nearing completion with the exception of exterior doors. <br />They won’t be placing the doors until the end to avoid them getting damaged. <br />Sand beds are being placed. They are excavating and assembling and placing HDPE effluent piping. <br />Slide gates are getting installed in the process tanks. <br />Sandra reported that not much has happened at the Collection System North over the past month. <br />She stated that they have finished work on Quinaquisset Rd. and have begun working on Orchard Rd. at the <br />Collection System South project. The Falmouth Rd. pump station has had electrical panels and generator <br />installed. The Mashpee Neck Rd. pump station has had electrical panels and generator installed as well. <br /> <br />Sandra reported that the cash flow for Contract 1 is 61% in time and 48% of the value of the work has been <br />completed. It was reported that $14.39m has been expended of the $29.8m contract. <br />Sandra said work on the North Contract has been idle but that they are equal to where they expected the cash <br />flow to be. <br />She stated that the South Contract, with the pump stations is moving at a pretty good clip. $7.34m has been <br />expended and is above what was expected to spend. <br /> <br />Chair Smith asked if there are any new supply chain issues and Sandy said there are not. <br />Co-Chair Harris asked Sandy to explain what the alternate rebid is. Sandy stated that they have picked up the <br />collection systems that were designed as part of the Phase 1 project that were not awarded due to the <br />amount of money that was needed. This includes the Brewster Road area and also includes a pump station. <br />Some low pressure services will be included on Meetinghouse Road and additionally, 5 smaller roads. <br />Mr. Bracco asked if the pump station has a redundant system and the response was yes. There are two <br />submersible pumps in the wet well and the station is designed to operate with one pump at a time if one of <br />them goes down the other will take over. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
