BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETING <br /> TUESDAY,FEBRUARY 8, 2022 6:00 P.M. <br /> MASHPEE PUBLIC LIBRARY <br /> EVENT ROOM <br /> Present: Sandi Lahart, Mary LeClair,Joan Lyons, Ann Macdonald, Ruth Nickerson. <br /> Also Present: Kathy Mahoney-Library Director <br /> Joan Lyons, Co-Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:09 p.m. <br /> Public Comment <br /> None. <br /> Affim 01-3—IQf min-14—cs <br /> Ann Macdonald motioned to approve the Regular Session minutes of January 11,2022, as <br /> presented. Motion was seconded by Ruth Nickerson. <br /> VOTE: Yes-5 <br /> Roll Call Vote: Sandi Labart, yes Amanda Hall, yes <br /> Mary LeClair, yes Joan Lyons, yes <br /> Ann Macdonald, yes Ruth Nickerson, yes <br /> Library Director Report <br /> The Library Director provided an update relative to COVID-19 guidelines discussed at a recent <br /> department bead meeting. The Board of Health continues to recommend,but does not require <br /> virtual board or committee meetings consider virtual meetings depending on the size of group. <br /> The local caseloads are showing positive movement and are declining. <br /> In light of the improvement,the Library Director asked the Trustees to consider establishing a <br /> target date for reopening the meeting rooms pending external conditions. Residents and patrons <br /> are eagerly looking forward to the resumption of programs, services, and meeting room access, <br /> and it would be helpful to provide them with a positive update. <br /> The board members discussed their questions related to the use of meeting rooms, including <br /> what precautions,restrictions or limitations would be needed to open meeting rooms in the near <br /> future—such as masking, social distancing, limiting the number of attendees.
