Proposed NOI <br /> razing of existing dwelling with all appurtenances, construct and maintain new dwelling with <br /> garage underneath, detached garage/workshop with second floor loft, storage shed, proposed <br /> mitigation plantings and new nitrogen reducing Title V septic system. Representative: Cape & <br /> Islands Engineering, Inc. Raul Lizardi gave details and history for the project. Paul Colombo had <br /> a question about the drainage of the project and the representative provided details for the <br /> commission. Additional conversation about storm water management ensued. Mr. Colombo <br /> commented about the mitigation plantings and additional discussion ensued about the mitigation <br /> plantings and the buffer zone. Brian Weeden proposed to submit a motion to continue to give the <br /> applicant time to revise the mitigation planting plan. The representative proposed a different plant <br /> for the trees and plantings. Paul Colombo asked a question about public access along the shoreline which the <br /> representative gave details on. Mr. Colombo then had a question about a cedar tree in the access <br /> pathway to the dock and conversation ensued about vegetation and placement of the pier. The <br /> applicant agreed to move the pier over to avoid removing the cedar tree. Additional discussion <br /> ensued. Steven Cook then asked about restoration of the marsh if any damage occurs. The <br /> representative answered and discussion ensued.
