Unanimous. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Weeden, yes <br />Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br />Public Hearing: PrivatetoPublicRoadC.onversion,_Christoraher..Lane: <br />Pursuant to Town of Mashpee General Bylaw § 150-6D., the Select Boardopened the Public Hearing <br />to address the private to public road conversion of Christopher Lane as shown on plans entitled <br />"Road Taking Plan Christopher Lane" dated January 26, 2024, prepared by Cape & Islands <br />Engineering. The notice as printed was read aloud into the record. <br />Catherine Laurent, Director of Public Works was in attendance to review the road conversion and <br />estimated betterment cost to be borne by the (7) property owners. <br />This is the second step in the road conversion process. A hearing was held, and property owners <br />were notified via certified mail. Ample signatures were received to move forward with the petition <br />article. <br />If the article is approved at the May 2024 Town Meeting, the road conversion would occur in <br />conjunction with the Sewer Project and a portion of the cost will be counterbalanced for certain sewer <br />work items associated to the wastewater project as reflected in the betterment assessment. <br />
