<br /> <br />MINUTES <br />MASHPEE BOARD OF SEWER COMMISSIONERS <br />THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2024, 2:00 p.m. <br />MASHPEE TOWN HALL <br />WAQUOIT MEETING ROOM <br />16 GREAT NECK ROAD NORTH <br />MASHPEE, MA 02649 <br />*In-person, televised meeting* <br /> <br />Present: Vice-Chair, Meredith Harris (via Zoom), Clerk, Catherine Casteneda, Phyllis Sprout, Al Towle <br /> <br />Other Attendees: Wastewater Superintendent, Jared Meader <br /> Sandra Tripp, GHD <br /> <br />Absent: Chair, Chad Smith <br /> Joe Lyons <br /> <br />2:00PM – Convene Meeting: Co-Chair, Meredith Harris called the meeting to order at 2:00PM in open session <br />at Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />MOMENT OF SILENCE <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION <br />None at this Time. <br />APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br />None at this Time. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Discussion and approval of the February 8, 2024 Sewer Commission Meeting minutes. <br />A motion was made by Mr. Towle to approve the minutes of the February 8, 2024 Sewer Commission <br />meeting with amendments. <br />Motion seconded by Catherine Castaneda. <br />Motion passed by unanimous consent. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />None at this Time. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Sewer Construction Update – GHD. <br />Sandra gave a report on the construction project. She stated that they are about to put the alternate rebid <br />project on the street. This includes one pump station on Brewster Road and six independent road collection <br />systems. <br />She also stated that the design for Phase 2 was formally kicked off with the Town last week. This includes <br />Option 9 as well as improvements to the plant, which consists of adding equipment to the plant as well as <br />adding four additional sand beds. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
