,�,„wmm'mwpy <br /> Town Of Mashplee Historic District Commission <br /> " 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Mashpee Historic District Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> Thursday,July 27,2023,9:15 AM <br /> Mashpee Town Hall—Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Historic District Commission Members Present: Chairman Brian Hyde, Dennis Balzarini, Maureen <br /> Paxton, and Bradford Pittsley. <br /> Also: Evan Lehrer,Town Planner, and Karyn Leslie,Administrative Assistant <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Historic District Commission meeting was called to order by Chairman Hyde at <br /> 9:15 AM on July 27, 2023. <br /> PROPOSED PROJECTS <br /> Chairman Hyde then opened the Public Hearing for Nathan Connolly of 234 Main Street. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Applicant: Nathan Connolly <br /> Location: 234 Main Street,Mashpee, MA <br /> Request: Certificate of Appropriateness <br /> Description: The Applicant is seeking endorsement of Certificate of Appropriateness for <br /> construction of a new addition along the westerly portion of the existing single family <br /> dwelling located at 234 Main Street(Assessors' Map 37 Parcel 71). <br /> The Town Planner presented the Applicant's proposal to the Historic District Commission. He stated <br /> that the Application was for construction of an addition along the westerly portion of the existing single <br /> family dwelling. He further stated that there are no changes being proposed to the pre-existing non- <br /> conformity and that the material pallet is consistent with what exists today. There are no existing plans <br /> for landscaping. The Town Planner stated there are no notable issues with the proposed Application. <br /> Having no questions from the Commission or the Public,Chairman Hyde sought motion to close the <br /> Public Hearing and approve the Application for Certificate of Appropriateness as submitted for 234 Main <br /> Street. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made the motion to close the Public Hearing and approve the Application for <br /> Certificate of Appropriateness as submitted for 234 Main Street. Ms. Paxton seconded. All in favor. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The minutes for July 19,2022, September 8, 2022, and May 18,2023 were reviewed and having no <br /> comments Chairman Hyde sought motion to approve the minutes from July 19, 2022, September 8, <br /> 2022,and May 18,2023. <br /> 1 <br />
