Brings and Doc.: 1472491 <br /> Sarah J. Brings Ctf.: 171058 <br /> 23 Jeep Place <br /> (Map 118 Parcel 111) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 6, 2023 by Owners, Hans E. and Sarah J. Brings requesting a <br /> Modification to existing Special Permits (WRITTEN FINDING-2021-29 and MOD-2022-49), <br /> under §174-24 (C) (9) (a) of the Zoning Bylaws to eliminate condition line Item 5, and line Item <br /> 7, and allow the upstairs room to be finished and heated on property located in an R-3 Zoning <br /> District, and the Popponesset Overlay District, at 23 Jeep Place, Map 118 Parcel 111, Mashpee, <br /> MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. <br /> Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in <br /> the Town of Mashpee, on June 16, 2023 and June 23, 2023 a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday,July 12,2023 <br /> at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present; Acting Chairman, <br /> Jonathan Furbush, Board Member, William Blaisdell, and Associate Members, George <br /> Ganzenmuller, Charles Reidy, and Robert Caggiano. Also present was David Morris, Building <br /> Commissioner. <br /> Attorney Christopher Kirrane represented the applicant for the request. Mr. Brings was also <br /> present. This project was in front of the Board back in 2021 when the homeowners received a <br /> Special Permit to construct a garage. There was a subsequent request for some modification to the <br /> first floor of this garage including adding a heating unit, eliminating the door, and making some <br /> deck renovations. <br /> 1 <br />
