<br />Mr. Meader stated that he believes that the course that we are currently on is still the best course and that he <br />doesn’t think we are not there yet when it comes to betterments. He went on to state that it’s something that <br />should be evaluated to be sure we’re still on the right course. <br /> <br />Chair Smith posed a question regarding the Split Tax in the Town and asked if that is something that can <br />introduce some equity into the process and can it be divided between residents and non-residents? <br />Mr. Cotton stated that can be addressed by the Select Board when the time comes. <br />Chair Smith stated that he would like to have a standard operating procedure and time line in place for <br />evaluating this. <br /> <br />Rodney Collins stated that there is a residential exemption in the Town that’s applicable now. It could change <br />or not.
