The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 11 by a vote of 7-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member O'Hara <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Article 11 as printed in the Warrant, with the <br />exception of the phrase "or take any other action relating thereto." <br />Motion passes unanimously at 8:27PM <br />Article 12 <br />To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $250,000 from revenue available for <br />appropriation, to be deposited into special injury leave indemnity fund, (Injured on Duty Fund), in <br />accordance with the provisions of General Law Chapter 41, Section 111 F for the purposes of funding injury <br />leave compensation or medical bills incurred under said law, or take any other action relating thereto. <br />Submitted by the Finance Director <br />Explanation: This article would deposit $250,000 into the special injury leave indemnity fund (Injured <br />on Duty Fund). <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 12 by a vote of 4-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 12 by a vote of 7-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Sherman <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Article 12 as printed in the Warrant, with the <br />exception of the phrase "or take any other action relating thereto." <br />Motion passes unanimously at 8:28PM <br />Article 13 <br />To see if the Town will vote to create a permanent full time employment position within the Department <br />of Wastewater Management entitled Wastewater Executive Assistant, Grade 9, Step 3, pursuant to the <br />Personnel Administrative Plan, General Bylaw Section 5-7 as recommended by the Town Manager, the <br />duties and responsibilities of which shall include, without limitation, performing advanced administrative, <br />technical, inspection and investigative work related to the operation of the Town's Water Resource <br />Recovery Facility (WRRF) and the collection system in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and <br />regulation in the Town of Mashpee; and, further, to appropriate, raise and/or transfer the sum of $127,711 <br />from revenue available for appropriation, with said funds to be distributed as follows: $77,591 to the <br />Wastewater Management Department Salary/Wage account, $30,113 to the Medical insurance account, <br />$35 to the Group Life Insurance account, $1,126 to the Medicare expense account, and $18,846 to the <br />Barnstable County Retirement expense account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br />Submitted by the Wastewater Management Department <br />Explanation: This article will create and fund a full-time Wastewater Executive Assistant within the <br />Department of Wastewater Management.
